What we can finance

If it helps your business earn, chances are we can help you finance it.

  • Trucks and fleet vehicles

From a single ute to a full fleet, keep your business moving without a big upfront hit.

  • Construction machinery

Diggers, loaders, cranes and plant. Get on site sooner and pay as the machine earns its keep.

  • IT and technology

Servers, systems, software and hardware. Stay current without the capital outlay.

  • Specialised tools and equipment

Industry-specific gear for trades, manufacturing, hospitality and more.

  • Medical and professional equipment

High-value equipment for clinics, practices and professional services.

  • Agricultural equipment

Tractors, implements and machinery to keep the farm productive year round.

Why finance your assets?

When your business needs vital equipment, paying cash for it can slow you down. Tying up capital in a truck or a machine means less in the tank for wages, stock, marketing and the unexpected.

Asset finance lets you acquire what you need now and spread the cost in a way that matches how your business actually operates. You get flexible repayment terms, the choice of fixed or variable rates, and honest guidance on which structure suits your situation.

  • Preserve working capital and existing credit lines

  • Repayments structured around your cash flow

  • The asset itself typically acts as security

  • Potential tax advantages depending on the structure Talk to your accountant.

Your finance options,
in plain English

There's more than one way to finance an asset. The right structure depends on how long you'll keep it, how your cash flow runs, and how you want it treated on the books.

Own it at the end

Hire purchase

You pay the asset off in regular instalments, and once the final payment is made, it's yours. A straightforward option when you know you'll want to own the asset long term, like a truck or machine with plenty of working life ahead of it.

Built to upgrade

Finance lease

The lender owns the asset and you lease it for an agreed term, usually with lower payments than hire purchase. A good fit for assets you'll want to upgrade regularly, like vehicles or technology, where flexibility matters more than ownership.

Yours from day one

Chattel mortgage / term loan

You own the asset from day one, with the loan secured against it. This can suit businesses that want the asset on their balance sheet immediately, and it often works well for GST-registered businesses.

Not sure which one fits? That's exactly what we're here for. Tell us about your situation and we'll walk you through the pros and cons of each, in language that makes sense.

Fair questions, straight answers

It depends on the asset, its age, and your business's position. Many asset finance deals can be structured with little or no deposit because the asset itself acts as security. We'll give you a realistic picture early on, before any formal application.

For straightforward deals with good information upfront, approvals can come through in a matter of days, sometimes faster. Because we prepare applications properly the first time, we avoid the delays that come from lenders asking for missing pieces.

Yes, in most cases. Lenders will consider the asset's age, condition and remaining working life. Some have age limits at the end of the loan term, and we'll factor that in when matching you with the right lender.

Often, yes. Some lenders specialise in newer businesses and self-employed operators, and may look at projections, contracts in hand, or your industry experience rather than just trading history. This is exactly where a broker earns their keep.

Most asset finance is written at a fixed rate for the term, which makes budgeting simple: same payment, every time. We'll talk you through the options and what they mean for your cash flow before you commit to anything.

In most cases, nothing. Like most brokers, we're paid a commission by the lender when your finance settles. If a fee ever applies to your situation, we'll tell you clearly and upfront, before you're committed to anything.

Some lenders offer seasonal or structured repayment options, which can suit agriculture, tourism and other seasonal businesses. Tell us how your income runs and we'll look for a structure to match.

Depending on the agreement, you can typically return the asset, extend the lease, or upgrade to newer equipment. We'll make sure you understand your end-of-term options before you sign.
